Add a new learning experience to your time at the Vrije Universiteit and become part of our organisation. We’re looking for people to join our brand new Teams: the Editorial, Technical and Communications Team!

Our support teams

We’re currently looking for new members for our support teams: the Editorial, Technical and Communications Team.

These new teams guide show makers every step along the way of their production, under coordination of the Editorial Board.

  • Allround editor (2 positions)
  • Allround producer (2 positions)
  • Website manager
  • Social media manager

How to apply

You can apply by sending your CV and motivation letter to editorialboard.radio@vu.nl. Motivation and commitment weigh in heavier than your work experience, so don’t hesitate and do apply.

Along with your application, do send us your availability on the interview day, which takes place November 8th. Ideally conversations take place on campus, but if necessary, we’ll schedule a Zoom-meeting.

EDITORIAL
TEAM:

2 allround editors

Together with the Editor-in-chief you brainstorm show concepts with potential show makers, help the show makers in their creative development and give notes and feedback on shows.

TECHNICAL
TEAM:

2 allround producers

Together with the Technical / Production Chief you maintain the recording and broadcasting equipment as well as the studio, train new show makers in recording and give guidance in editing content.

COMMUNICATIONS
TEAM:

Website manager

Under coordination of the Communications Chief you develop new pages for shows together with show makers and keep our website’s content up to date.

Under coordination of the Communications Chief you develop a strategy for promotion on social media and prepare social media content together with show makers.

Teams positions

  1. Apply before November 2nd
  2. You’ll hear back from us on November 6th
  3. The application interview takes place on November 8th
  4. You’ll again hear back from us on November 11th

We’d like to meet up with both the Editorial Board and all Team members on November 12th. We’ll keep you posted on that during the process.
