Join our radio workshops!
Kick off your time at the Vrije Universiteit by learning some new skills: recording your own podcast, broadcasting your favourite songs and nurturing your radio voice. We’ll be welcoming you on Fridays: September 10th, October 1st and 8th.

Workshops
Participate
We feel like making radio is something to experience yourself. We decided not to do any online activities – besides our usual radio shows and podcasts – and to hosts three radio workshops. During these workshops we’ll tell you something about what VU Campusradio does and how you can get on board.
Also, of course, we’ll make radio with you. Choose some songs to play, a story to tell or a discussion to start, and spend some time on air with fellow students, our show makers and our board. You’re also welcome to join if you simply have some questions about becoming part of our Editorial Board or Teams.
The workshops take place when the academic year has already started: September 10th, October 1st and October 8th, from 12:00 AM – 3:00 PM. We’ve divided the events up into two parts, both with a maximum capacity of 15 people. Make sure to sign up below. Feel free to join on your own or to take some people with you. We’d appreciate it if you could mention it if you plan on taking people with you.
Listen
Of course live radio isn’t quite the same without people who listen. If you don’t feel like joining us in the studio just yet, do make sure to listen to the workshops via our broadcast. You can always find it on our main page, but for your convenience we’ve embedded it here as well (on desktop to your left, on mobile above ‘workshops’).

Make your own show
In January we are open to new show proposals again. We’ll be starting a new programme in which we guide a limited amount of students and alumni in producing their own podcast or radio show. Follow us on Instagram to stay posted – or send us an email asking to be notified.

Connecting@VU
We’ve just released our new show in collaboration with the Diversity Office VU about feeling home at the university. It’s a short series of three episodes with about 15 guests who tell about their experiences. There are tips on who to turn to if you ever don’t feel comfortable at university, and people share what has helped them to feel at home.
